Habitat
F rom Atlantic to Pacific of North America; from central Canada to Bolivia, Guiana, and northern Brazil.

Their favored habitat is clumps of broadleaved and coniferous forests in the middle of fields. They can also be found in rugged river valleys, sandy hills covered by grass and trees, and sometimes stay in large forests.
